  17. QUESTION:  I need professional help with giving public speeches.  Where can I
  18. find this help?  The question arose after reading your recent article.  On
  19. that day you gave advice to a person who had a problem with public speaking.
  20. Well, I need a little more help with my speaking in general.

  24. ANSWER:  The previous response in my column drew a great deal of interest and
  25. I have received many letters about the subject.  Apparently there is a real
  26. need for this type of assistance, and the good news is that there are at least
  27. two organization that are prepared to offer help to all who would improve
  28. their speaking skills.
  29.      Several letters contained information about Toastmasters International,
  30. and one kind reader even forwarded a copy of their fine publication.
  31. Toastmasters provides an environment of support by other individuals with
  32. similar personal goals and offers a professionally designed developmental
  33. program.   For more information contact their headquarters, P.O. Box 9052,

  35.      Another organization that may be of assistance is International Training
  36. in Communication (ITC), P.O. Box 4249, Anaheim CA 92803.  Both organizations
